Bra Bank

It’s time to bin your bra!

Deposit your unwanted or unloved bras in our very own bra bank and you will be helping to raise vital funds towards dedicated research to improve detection and increase survival after breast cancer diagnosis.

The bras you no longer wear could also be helping to support small businesses in Africa. Together with Against Breast Cancer’s recycling partners, their textile recovery project prevents these bras going into landfill and gives them a new lease of life in developing countries where bras remain too expensive to produce locally.

For every tonne of bras collected, Against Breast Cancer receives £700 to fund research. With over 30 million women in the UK you could really help make a difference!

When you make a deposit at our Bra Bank, your ill-fitting or unwanted bras will be whisked away to start a new life on the other side of the world, where traders support their families selling textiles locally.

Successful ventures like this keep many families in developing countries out of poverty whilst providing employment for people at home in the UK. Any bras that are genuinely beyond redemption are dismantled and disposed of properly.

Please head to the Marketing Office to drop off your unwanted bras.
