A Welcome from the Headmistress
Our girls are happy, eager to learn, and very enthusiastic about their school. Our expert staff are able to give the girls the time they need to develop into confident and successful young women. With a long tradition of academic excellence, St Margaret’s is a good place for your daughter to spend her school days. We are passionate about activities outside the classroom as well as those within. We have over 50 clubs, teams and extra-curricular activities for the girls here. Little girls from 2 Junior can enjoy ballet, drama, the wildlife club and Choi Kwang Do; as our girls get older, they find more opportunities open to them like highland dancing, netball, debating, gymnastics, the eco club, cross-country running and badminton. In 1 Senior girls can add the football club, science club and art club; our older senior girls might find themselves making a film in the directors’ club, while maintaining their interests in music, drama and sport. We have an annual school show and many musical ensembles, including the choral club, Vivaldi players, the orchestra, senior choir and concert band. With so many different interests to pursue, your daughter will have exciting opportunities waiting for her in the family atmosphere of St Margaret’s School for Girls. You don’t have to take my word for what life is like here: read what our pupils have to say about what it is like to study and play at St Margaret’s. Please contact us to arrange a visit, and I shall be delighted to give you a personal tour of our wonderful school.
