Our Nursery

Situated in the heart of Aberdeen city centre you will find St Margaret's Nursery. With its commitment to nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning, the nursery stands as a cornerstone of educational development for 3-5 year olds.

St Margaret's Nursery provides a holistic approach to early childhood education. The curriculum is thoughtfully crafted to stimulate curiosity, encourage exploration, and ignite a passion for discovery. Through a blend of structured activities and play-based learning, children are empowered to develop essential skills while embracing their individuality.

The nursery offers fully funded full-time places for both girls and boys. Our staff are qualified and enthusiastic and bring a wide variety of experience to our nursery. Our nursery environment reflects the care, quality and professionalism of our nursery teacher and early years practitioners.

At St Margaret's Nursery, every child is cherished and supported in their unique journey of growth and development. Highly trained practitioners and teachers create a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential.

At St Margaret's, opportunities for outdoor learning are manifold. Through the 'Wee Green Spaces' initiative, children have the opportunity to explore local outdoor areas right on our doorstep. This initiative not only encourages exploration but also fosters a range of learning experiences. Even before stepping out, pupils engage in practical tasks like packing their bags and selecting snacks, promoting independence and teamwork.

During these outings, children immerse themselves in various activities, from identifying letters and numbers to imagining who lives behind certain doors along the way. Outdoor learning at St Margaret's isn't just about fun—it's about building skills, confidence, and a love of learning.
