St Margaret's School for Girls is an independent school with around 370 girls, who range in age from three to eighteen.

We are seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic teacher to teach history from S1 through to Advanced Higher level. Candidates should be GTCS registered or eligible for registration and it may be advantageous, although not essential, for the candidate to be able to teach another subject, such as modern studies.
This is a permanent position which could be full-time or part-time (0.7FTE) depending on the preference of the successful candidate.
We are seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic teacher to teach biology from Primary 7 through to Advanced Higher level. The successful candidate will join a friendly team of five science teachers with individual subject heads in our state-of-the-art science block. Facilities comprise bright and spacious purpose built labs with visualisers and LCD interactive boards, dedicated laboratory technician support and a sixth year project room. Candidates should be GTCS registered or eligible for registration.

The department is lively and thriving. English results in SQA examinations have been very strong over a number of years attesting to the department’s high standards and innovative practice.
