Summer at St Margaret's

Welcome back to staff and pupils after what we hope was an excellent Easter break. This summer term sees many exciting events on the St Margaret’s calendar. We look forward to welcoming prospective families to our open morning on Friday, 21st April. This is an excellent opportunity to meet with current staff and pupils and have a tour of the school on a regular school day.

On the 29th of April we are hosting the Annual Reunion for former staff, pupils, and friends of the school, and our Spring Ball which will be raising funds for our bursary programme. Held at the Marcliffe Hotel and Spa, the ball will have music from local band Mustang, with an exciting chance to win some incredible prizes through our on the night raffle and online silent auction.

Further on in the term is the junior school show, Alice in Wonderland, held at The Lemon Tree on 12th May. The juniors have been working so hard on the show and cannot wait to perform. There is also the annual summer concert on Thursday, 18th May which promises to be yet another musical success for the school.

And in the final few weeks of term we have Sports Day on Friday 2nd June, residential trips, the VIS Leavers’ Ceremony and, to round-off the term before the summer holidays, Speech Day. Once again being held at The Beach Ballroom, Speech Day provides time to reflect on the values of St Margaret’s: respect, community, equality, hard work and ambition, as well as recognising the achievements of our pupils.

The summer term at St Margaret’s is always a busy one, and this year will be no exception!
